The RESISTANCE BOX are used to limit the in-rush current and adjust the torque and speed characteristics used for both A.C. D.C. application in E.O.T. Cranes, Electric Winches and in cement plants.
These Resistances are Ranging form 2.4 HP to 2000 HP as per their application or demand.

The RESISTANCE BOX consists of stainless steel strip or wire of uniform section in the form of a wave profile having required number of loops to form a typical grid. The current rating normally ranges from 5 Amp. to 60 Amp. continuous. Higher ratings are achieved by using multiple parallel paths.
The main advantage of SS formed grid Resistance Box is that they are LIGHT WEIGHT, UNBREAKABLE, RUSTLESS and have relatively LOWER COST.
DBR RESISTANCE BOX are manufactured as per customers requirement at specified Ohm rating to stop the reverse flow of excessive current produced while baking is provided on the motor as the motor behaves like a generator while braking operation. They are manufactured in both SS Punched or Wire Grid.
Applications : VFD, VVFD and special purpose use.
